All my life I have had a passion for drawing and painting.
When I was a little girl my parents encoured me to draw,
(I learned it from my dad),
and it was something I was good at ( can I say that??)
but more important it was something I could I could lose my feeling in,
some sort of meditation.
This one I made at 17, a very difficult year.
And in highschool my teacher mrs. L.,
who I appreciate highly,
thought me how important art is.
Some say she was very strict and stern.
I say she was/is a person who was very passionate at her trade and passion.
Yes, I know.....it's Valentines day, hope you had a nice one with lot's of love!
And I should make new sketches.......coming soon.....;-)
I found my way to art on my own. My parents have nothing artistic about them and don't understand it at all. Yes, you can say you are good at art - never be afraid to say that. You are. That is perfectly reasonable to say so. :)
